I have enjoyed this wonderful opportunity to
meet so many nice people along the way. All the students have
become very special to me. And the teachers...wow all I can say
is what a journey I have taken. From the lovely ladies in
Australia to the ones who have come from both the West coast to those from
the East coast as well. Sandy Walker who I met on line
and then got to spend real time with. I cried when I had to hug and
say good bye. She took the greyhound bus here and back home. Pam
Grose who feels like a daughter. Ellen Haytas who
is like a little sister to me.
My dear friend Annie Hesse.... it only took that first hug and we bonded.
All the teachers I've taken to the airport and wished they could stay
just a bit longer. Some day I hope I can go visit these people
myself. In the future I may have to write my own book with all
my experiences and the wonderful people I may have never meet if its
was not for my love of doll making and other creative endeavors.
Doll makers are very caring people.
In my own small way I hope I have shared my joy with others.
You are always welcome to my home.
You may have to accept pot luck for dinner. But in the winter
there is the warmth from my wood burning stove and I always have the
kettle on.
